Wildlife Photo 2026 Competition
Hatherleigh Festival’s Wildlife Photo Competition!
Exciting news! We have decided to run the 2026 Wildlife Photo competition all year so you can enter pictures of local wildlife taken in all the seasons. So next time you see and snap a beautiful picture of local wildlife, you can enter it straight away.
Wildlife Photo 2025 Winners Announced
Why a Wildlife Photo Competition?
Protecting wildlife begins with simply noticing it. If future generations are to value and protect the natural world, they must first be aware of it—and that awareness starts with paying attention.
This competition is a fun and accessible way to do just that: to pause, look more closely at the wildlife around us, and share what we see. It might seem like a small step, but awareness is the foundation of care—and many of us simply aren’t aware of the nature that surrounds us every day.
So if this resonates with you, grab your camera or phone, take a few photos—or better yet, encourage a young person to join you—and upload your favourites. Then come visit the exhibition in the Old Schools during festival weekend. Let’s celebrate and connect with the wildlife that’s right here, right now.
So join in, submit your best image, and watch this space for the results and exhibition details.
Enter your photograph using the form below.
