Vince Lee has been a mainstay on the South West’s music scene for over 30 years.
An authentic, virtuoso blues guitarist & singer who’s band ‘The Big Combo’ have been performing regularly since 1996. The current line up includes Josiah Manning – piano, Al Wallis – bass & Sebastian Boleslawski – drums. Vince has gained a large following around Devon & Cornwall playing uptempo rhythm & blues, early rock & roll, calypso & jump blues. His involvement with many of the areas finest players has lead to several musical projects, bands & recordings. He toured the UK & Europe extensively for 10 years as frontman with The Wildcards, a 4 piece rockin’ rhythm & blues band releasing 3 successful albums between 2004 & 2010.
Vince Lee has recorded & helped produce 4 further albums with fellow blues songwriter/guitarist Thomas Ford who has received great acclaim on the European blues circuit in recent years. Vince & his partner Becca Langsford have performed together in various band settings since 2008. Vince produced and played on Becca’s debut album ‘Big Surprise’ in 2011 and live shows as a duo featuring guitar & washboard driven country blues & ragtime duets.
