Rag Ruging Workshop with Deborah Hastings
12 – 2pm – £4.00 in the Community Centre
Deborah Hastings will be holding a fantastic Rag Ruging workshop for 4½ – 100 year olds! on Friday 27th July from 12 – 2pm in the Community Centre. The craft of Rag Rugging is an old one. It developed out of the need to make cottagers’ homes more comfortable, as the floors were frequently beaten earth and warm insulation was needed. Deborah hosts many workshops throughout the South West and is a member of North DevonArt and has exhibited at many venues through out Devon.
All materials are included in this 2 hour session and you will be able to make and take home a ‘proddy flower’ or a ‘proddy fish’. This 2 hour session is only £4.00.
