Far From the Delta are a blues trio with a rock edge. They take delta blues, Chicago blues, the British blues explosion and make the songs their own. Not content with just covering other people’s songs, they have recorded an album of original material which they also perform called ‘Broken Blues’ . The band formed in 2010, and although there have been different line ups, they are back to the original three. They make an effort to be part of the local blues scene, often attending either part or all, at local blues jams.
